In the vein of Anderson's Boogie Nights, Korine's Spring Breakers and Hichcock's Vertigo. A jet setting DJ with self destructive habits is seduced when he is hired to play at a high society wedding. The DJ wakes up in a white penthouse in a pool of blood and has no idea what happened. The only visible wound is a bleeding finger. Soon afterwards, his lavish lifestyle of weekends in different cities, fast women and intoxication loses its luster. He realizes that drugs and alcohol have zero effect on him and he must unravel the truth behind the forgotten weekend and the layers of his own deceit.
Returning home to Los Angeles, he must make sense of his indiscretions, his destructive relationship with his manager, his irresponsibility as a father and his insatiable passion for music.
Complicating things further is the secret that he is carrying in his bandaged finger, the DNA to CUBIC, a narcotic that renders other narcotics ineffective which is sought after by dark forces. Ultimately, he must sacrifice a piece of himself in order to survive.
